Dr. Simon Gras at APICOMPLEXA-2026

Dr. Simon Gras joined APICOMPLEXA-2026 as an invited speaker, presenting our latest work on plasma membrane recycling in Toxoplasma.

Dr. Simon Gras was invited to speak at APICOMPLEXA-2026, the second International Virtual Symposium on Apicomplexan Parasites Research, held online on January 27–28, 2026.
The two-day meeting brought together researchers from around the world for 32 invited talks covering a broad range of topics in Toxoplasma, Plasmodium and Cryptosporidium biology, from cell division, organelle biology and host–parasite interactions to metabolism, immunity and drug development.
Simon presented our latest work in the session “Metabolic and Membrane Dynamics in Parasites,” chaired by Dominique Soldati-Favre, with the talk “Balancing renewal and recycling: Endocytic pathway of Toxoplasma gondii plasma membrane.”
A great opportunity to share our research with the international Apicomplexa community and to hear about exciting developments across the field. Many thanks to the organizers for the invitation and for putting together such an interesting and diverse scientific programme!
